Curvy Palm

My family visited the town of Rockport, Texas just about 2 weeks before Hurricane Harvey made landfall there in August 2017. You would never know that this sleepy fishing town was about to face such devastation. They are still rebuilding from the wind and rain damage. This curvy palm tree caught my eye one afternoon and I painted it onsite. This painting was done in my studio, on a much larger scale. It's a reminder to appreciate each day, because you just don't know what tomorrow will bring.
